1. Material & Hardness: Crafted from high-speed steel (HSS), some versions undergo quenching treatment. Its hardness reaches 63 – 65 HRC, and a few models have titanium nitride coating for enhanced wear resistance.
2. Dimensions: The drilling diameter typically ranges from 3mm – 20mm; for example, common sizes in sets cover 3mm – 10mm. The overall length varies by specification, ranging from 55mm to 189mm. It usually adopts a straight shank with diameters of 6mm, 8mm, 12mm, etc., and some large-size models have a taper shank (e.g., MT3).
3. Structural Details: Most are 2 – flute or 5 – flute designs; the flutes are CNC – ground. It has a three-point drill tip for centering and laser – marked diameter labels. Many come with a 3 – flat shank or round shank, and some are detachable and adjustable with a hex key.
4. Torsion & Tolerance: The torsion angle is generally 25°, the blade diameter tolerance is 0～+0.1mm, and the shank and drill diameter follow H8 tolerance standards for stable fitting with drills.
