1. Material & Hardness: Crafted from HSS like M2 or M35 (with cobalt). The forging process boosts its hardness to 63 – 66HRC, and some have black oxide, amber-black, or bright finishes.
2. Dimensions: Complies with DIN 338. Diameter ranges 1.0 – 20mm; straight shank design. Point angles are 118° as standard or 135° split point. It usually has 2 spiral flutes.
3. Other Specs: Adopts right-hand cutting. Overall lengths are around 70 – 135mm, and edge lengths 39 – 78mm, suiting small-to-medium hole drilling.
