diamond saw blade

Product Details

Technical Data

  1. Overall Dimensions: Its outer diameter covers a wide range from 300mm (12″) to 2000mm (80″), and common specifications for asphalt and stone cutting are 300 – 800mm. The arbor (hole) diameter is usually 25.4mm, 50mm, or 80mm to match different cutting equipment like masonry saws and high-speed saws.
  2. Segment Specifications: The number of diamond segments varies with the diameter, ranging from 21 for 300mm blades to 132 for 2200mm blades. The segment thickness is 3.2 – 12mm, and the height is generally 8 – 15mm. The diamond grit is typically industrial-grade (e.g., 35#) for targeted cutting of asphalt and stone.
  3. Base & Brazing Material: The base is made of 65Mn alloy steel, which ensures good structural stability and impact resistance. It often adopts vacuum or high-frequency brazing with nickel-based or active brazing filler metal to bond the segments and the base firmly.
  4. Operating Parameters: It supports both dry and wet cutting. The maximum safe rotating speed can reach up to 6600 rpm for small-sized blades, and even 300 – 500 m/s for high-speed operation for large-scale engineering-grade blades.

Advantages

  1. Ultra-Strong Bonding & High Safety: The brazing process achieves a metallurgical chemical bond between the diamond segments and the steel base.
  2. Efficient Cutting & Smooth Cuts: The diamond exposure height can reach 70% – 80% of the abrasive height. This large chip space avoids clogging by asphalt residues or stone debris, allowing fast cutting speed.
  3. Long Service Life
  4. Strong Adaptability: It is not only specialized in cutting asphalt roads, asphalt-concrete composites but also competent for cutting sandstone, marble, and other stones.
