production raw material

Raw Material

The primary raw materials for cutting blades and drill bits—high carbon steel, high-speed steel (HSS), and tungsten carbide—are strictly selected to meet international quality standards, ensuring consistent performance, reliability, and compliance with global industrial requirements. Each material combines distinct mechanical properties with adherence to recognized benchmarks, catering to both general-purpose and high-precision machining needs.

Cutting&Machining

Cutting and machining processes are tailored to each material’s hardness, machinability, and performance requirements, leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies to ensure dimensional accuracy, sharp cutting edges, and compliance with international standards.

These are material-specific: conventional methods for cost-effective high carbon steel tools, precision CNC grinding for versatile HSS tools, and specialized EDM/diamond grinding for premium tungsten carbide tools.

Heat Treatment

Heat treatment is a critical step in processing core raw materials (high carbon steel, high-speed steel/HSS, tungsten carbide) for cutting blades and drill bits. It optimizes mechanical properties—hardness, toughness, wear resistance, and heat resistance—while ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO 4957 for HSS, ISO 513 for carbide tools), directly enhancing tool performance, durability, and batch consistency for industrial applications.

Quality Control

The First Article Inspection. In-Process Quality Control, Final Quality Control, as well as the operators’ frequent self- inspections, constitute a complete inspection procedure and provide a real and valid data base for our daily quality reports.

From raw material to final product, all quality records can be traced in Easydrill’s system.
