Technical Data

Item Details
Material & Coating Made of integral ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide. Common coatings include TiAlN and other high-performance coatings. Some high-end models adopt the KCSM15A grade carbide substrate to enhance wear resistance.
Key Dimensions The effective cutting diameter is generally 4mm – 25.4mm, and the overall length can reach up to 152.4mm. The number of flutes is mostly 2 or 6, the common helix angle is 38°, and there are two optional taper angles to meet different application needs.
Structural Characteristics Many models adopt unequal flute spacing. Some have an eccentric relief grind design and a center – cutting structure, which supports plug milling and slope milling operations. Some low – specification models are designed with U – shaped chip grooves.
Applicable Scope It can process steel, stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, and other materials, and is also suitable for machining workpieces with a hardness of up to 48HRC. It is compatible with 3 – 5 axis CNC machining centers and is widely used in aerospace, mold, and automotive industries.

Advantages

  1. Stable Cutting with Little Vibration: The unequal flute spacing design suppresses vibration during high – feed machining. The high – rigidity tungsten carbide substrate and eccentric relief grind structure also enhance edge stability, avoiding tool breakage during cutting.
  2. Excellent for Complex Precision Machining: The combination of the tapered structure and the ball – nose tip enables smooth machining of complex 3D contours. It can reduce burrs on the workpiece surface and improve the surface finish, thus reducing the subsequent polishing process.
  3. Efficient Chip Removal & High Machining Efficiency
  4. Long Service Life.
